National consultant in the field of gynecological endocrinology and reproduction (MZ, 2013-present). Former vice-president of the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians (PTGiP, 2015-2018) and former representative of Poland (Committee of National Representatives; 2014-2020) in the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
Chairman of the Expert Team preparing the Specialization Program in the field of gynecological endocrinology and reproduction. Author of over 100 full-text foreign and domestic scientific publications in the field of gynecological endocrinology, reproductive medicine and pathophysiology of gynecological endocrinopathies; head of three KBN/NCN research programs.
Professor Robert Spaczyński has been involved in reproductive medicine and gynecological endocrinology for over 20 years, working at the Department of Reproduction (1995-99), and then at the Department of Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology of the Gynecological and Obstetrics Clinical Hospital of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences (1999-2022). For 12 years, he served as deputy coordinator at the Department of Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology of the GPSK UM in Poznań (2010-2022). Professor Robert Spaczyński's scientific interests include infertility and gynecological endocrinology, in particular the issues of ovarian physiopathology, polycystic ovary syndrome, cardiometabolic disorders in hyperandrogenic syndromes, endometriosis and pelvic pain syndrome, three-dimensional sonographic techniques, and hormonal contraception. He is also interested in the issues of advanced endoscopic techniques (hysteroscopy and laparoscopy), performing complicated laparoscopic surgeries: presacral neurectomy, rectovaginal endometriosis, transabdominal cerclage and hysteroscopic reconstructive surgeries in Asherman syndromes.
Professor Spaczyński also participated in numerous clinical trials, including studies on osteoporosis therapy, endometriosis, hormonal contraception, menopausal hormone therapy and assisted reproduction. He is the author of over 185 foreign and domestic scientific publications in the field of gynecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine. Former head of three KBN/NCN research programs.
